Have you ever taken MDMA around a dog or other pet?
    #19097632 - 11/06/13 08:40 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

What was it like? The one time I tripped around my dog he seemed a lot more wild and less human-like. What do you think MDMA would be like? I feel like that would be great, like a dog would be the absolute perfect thing.

Less human like? It's a dog, not a human . However I've noticed that animals pick up on the vibe when you're tripping/rolling/anything emotionally intense. They behave a little differently, or, you notice their behavior and understand it in a way you didn't before.

My beagle loved me when I was rolling. She loved the attention and had so much spunk to play when she was younger haha. Its a trip just to think about...

I never really thought any different about her though. She was just as wild as me...

Oh, don't be a dummie. Dogs have humanlike qualitiies and have been bred over centuries to relate to humans right out of the womb.

I know whenever I trip around my Scottish terrier he is always really pumped up!  He just gets really psyched and fucks with me trying to get me to pet him or play.  Eventually I'll let him out and he'll run around for a solid 10 or 15 mins then he may chill out.  But I'm pretty sure he knows when I get into somethin.

But yeah, definitely, dogs especially are extremely emotionally attuned to their owners, it is amazing what they can pick up.

But did your beagle also make your roll better? I feel like a dog's fur and warmth and simplicity would make such a good complement to a roll.

I barely noticed my dog was there last time I rolled. But I've never really noticed anything different tripping or rolling around my dog, more love I suppose but that's it. With MDMA petting you're dog might be fun but I doubt you will get that kind of connection

When I used to live with my mom in high school, my dog would always sleep with me.  One morning, after I got woken up by my mom opening my door to let my dog out to eat/shit, he came back up into my bed.

Around 7:30AM when I heard my mom open the garage to leave for work, I tossed a hit of L under my tongue, and fell back asleep.  I woke up about 45 minutes to an hour later to my dog's tongue literally in my mouth.  I don't know what the fuck he was doing, but during that trip I swear my dog was tripping with me.

I remember tripping with my cat around once, either way you look at it your interaction changes. I was laying down with her on my chest, seeing this proud majestic lioness. When I trip with an animal around I feel like I understand it, its body language, its emotions, etc. It's rather profound, especially when my cat looks up at me and says "you're fine, it'll all be okay", as I start peaking on 7 grams

It was... something different, that's for sure.  That dog likes to poop between an hour and two hours after he eats, so it was about his time to wake me up.

Usually he just jumped on me until I woke up, but for some reason, the day I had a hit of L on my tongue, he decided to go to first base on me.

i think this is a good topic. my friend and i have noticed something with this. Dogs are super weird when im tripping or rolling. looking at them and seeing every hair fiber is pretty cool. but they look/appear to be alot more unstable and wild. you can see them acting on complete instinct. i notice a change in their behavior to but that i think its them just reacting to your change in behavior. they look at you like they just dont quite understand. even my own dogs. its like they feel the need to have to keep their eye on me

Dogs are man's best friend.  They've been bred for thousands of years to protect and love you.  Unlike filthy cats that fucking suck.  You ever see a cat sacrifice itself for its owner?  Of course not, because cats are fucking retarded and should be left outside to die in the snow.

Cats, have been bred for thousands of years to be cuddly, fun, and most significantly to kill rodents.

In part it depends on how they were handled as kittens, the more love and cuddling you do, the more sociable they are likely to become.

They tend to, however some naturally will be just as cuddly as dogs, Independence though is definitely a cat trait, and that doesn't mean they don't love you, it just means they like to be by themselves to. Actually, there's this one cat I know that will walk up to anyone walking by, lay down roll over and get petted and she purrs like crazy. In fact she'll even do this for little kids.

My cat is like that too, she'll jump up on my bed and collapse into a curled up circle of fuzzy warmth.

bradley, what if the human-like qualities you see in your dog are a projection of yourself unto him? It would make sense then, that when you're tripping (wild, unkempt, out there) your dog would seem the same.

bradley, what if the human-like qualities you see in your dog are a projection of yourself unto him? It would make sense then, that when you're tripping (wild, unkempt, out there) your dog would seem the same.

no. i do not mean wild in the sense of rowdy and unkempt, but as acting

My beagle loved me when I was rolling. She loved the attention and had so much spunk to play when she was younger haha. Its a trip just to think about...

I never really thought any different about her though. She was just as wild as me...

RIP

But did your beagle also make your roll better? I feel like a dog's fur and warmth and simplicity would make such a good complement to a roll.

Dude, it is not okay to have sex with your pet. Get help.

It depends on how hard you're tripping. If you're tripping hard enough for them to respond it's actually rather profound.

bradley I'm pretty sure he was joking.

Also it could be that they pick up on how whacked you are, so they get a little nervous/on edge, since you don't seem to be in any way behaving like a sane human being.

I began to get restless sitting in my room so i walked out into the living room where my golden retriver was. i laid down on the floor next to her and pet her, and i felt the unconditional love radiating from my dog's body.

This was on 3.5gs of mushrooms. I've also found that my cat that i grew up with protects me during my trips, he likes to sit around with me an expel bad vibes. When he sees me picking up any of these vibes, he'll strut over and rub his face against me to expel them. and it works. I fucking swear.

And rolling petting a fluffy animal is obviously fucking incredible.
Also, on any drugs i feel like my pets completely understand me and nothing needs to be said.
