Question about drying psilocybe cyanescens.

Hi, as you can see, i'm new here, so first of all hello!
I have a question about psilocybe cyanescens, a year or so ago i found a couple of patches of these wonderful mushrooms in my area, and after a little research, found that they were easy to cultivate in other woodchip patches... so i set about making some new patches of my own, long story short, it's season now, and i've harvested over 1000 so far.!
my question is about drying, i want to do this correctly especially as i have a lot of them, i've been fan drying them in a cool room for a day or so, and then placing them in a oven on a low heat for about an hour,
this has got the mushrooms where they have lost most of their size, changed to a pale colour and are completely dry to the touch.. but they are bendable and not what i would call 'cracker dry' could someone explain to me exactly how this species of mushroom is supposed to look/feel when it is totally dry, i don't want to put them into jars before they are dry, but i also don't want to leave them out too long! haha
thank you in advance

They should not be bendable. They should be cracker dry. Investing in a food dehydrator is the best thing you can do. Otherwise you have to fan dry them and put them in a desiccant chamber to finish them off

Cracker dry, as in when you bend a cracker, it breaks off -

A lot of people don't advocate space heater drying, but I swear by it. Although it is hard to manage with many mushrooms. I think the next step for you could be to make a desiccant chamber to finish them off. After a couple days in the chamber they should be so dry they snap when you bend them. If you wanted to, you could crumble them up into tiny pieces in your hands.

I use my oven to great effect! 200F after fan drying for a day or something. Waiting for the dehydrator to show up in the mail, neither my dehydrator nor my 6500k bulb seems to get here Been waiting over a month, I f'ing hate internet shopping!

I live in Scandinavia. I've been to 10+ stores and only pet store had 6500k bulbs, cost over 50 us dollars and required a special chassis/armature. Frustrating as hell, bought a 15w from dealextreme.com but now it seems they're a scam site. Been waiting a month now since they said the bulb was shipped. So now I'm moving my tubs around trying to get some sunlight at daytime, fan drying before oven drying. feels sad man..

there's hundreds of different 2700k bulbs both led and clf, advertised as comfortable light for your eyes with low power consumption. Pet stores carry them for aquariums and such, and probably some grow stores might have them for plants but it's damn expensive. And don't get me started on the taxes and fees for shopping online. I get pretty jelly of you Americans, though I've learned quite a bit on how to work without proper equipment. It has forced me to get a deeper understanding of why we do what we do.
