Energy drink recommendations?

So, I am kinda relying on a daily boost of caffeine to get my mind going in the right direction when it starts wandering away from the pressing matter of schoolwork that needs to be done. Currently, I find Full Throttle to be the best option as it is rarely over $2.50, tastes good (to me) and has 200mg of caffeine per can. I prefer the organic energy drinks sold at Mom's Market and Harris Teeter, but they are both more expensive, and less attainable. It takes me 10-15 mins each way to get to Mom's or HT and either a 2 minute walk down the street or 3 minute drive to get to the nearest place with Full Throttle.
I also take at least one 54mg prescribed Concerta a day on top of the energy drink (usually get x2 Full Throttle and if a 5 Hour Energy Extra Strength, then only one). Will or can this lead to health problems in the future? If so, are there any better alternatives? I am trying to cut high fructose corn syrup out of my diet completely and Full Throttle is the only thing I eat/drink that has any in it. 5 Hour Energy Extra Strengths work, but aren't nearly as enjoyable as drinking even a 12oz+ can of cold liquid.

They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion. [Carl Sagan, 1987 CSICOP keynote address]

You take Concerta and drink Full Throttle? At what age are you going for your first heart attack?

Not sure, but I think I had a close brush with one 3 years ago when I took one of my Concerta and then drank 2 5 Hour Energy Extra Strength in order to red eye a Psych paper. I was sitting at my desk in class 20 minutes before class and was getting that "pins and needles" feeling on every inch of my skin with my heart pounding as though I had just ran 2 miles as hard as I could. I was also seeing 'sparks' in the air that were clearly not there. Bright little dots of light floating around that were brighter than any sparks I had ever seen. If it had gotten any worse than that I was prepared to tell my teacher to call an ambulance, but those symptoms slowly faded for the next hour until it was just a really high heart rate.
I've been prescribed with various ADHD medicines since I was 12, so when I started drinking a lot of energy drinks in high school I never considered that I was taking the maximum recommended daily dose of caffeine on top of a powerful stimulant as being something to be careful of. I do eat very healthy, though. Not sure if daily exercise is a plus or minus on this subject, though.
Just to clarify, in case this matters, I started off prescribed to Ritalin and used that until sometime in middle school. It then changed to Concerta at 30~mg and rose to 54mg sometime before high school. After high school I went to a Psychologist to request enough to be able to take 2 a day as I knew college would be more difficult, but she didn't let me and instead suggested other options. I tried Focalin which I barely even felt and something else that was supposed to be taken only a few times but was supposed to stay in my blood for months (not sure what that was but the idea of it made me only try it once, after which I felt no significant difference). I think after that what happened was I started doing drugs and pretty much stopped taking my concerta for a year or two while doing various psychedelics and heavily using ketamine. Also played with coke and molly for a short while before determining that they weren't worth it. At the start of this semester I started taking the Concerta again. And now you have a rough idea of what my drug use has been like through out life (Sorry if that didn't provide any useful information)

Yeah, you should probably tell your doctor about all of that. And do the hard work, learn to focus and follow your own rules for getting things done.

My favorite energy drinks are Nos, red bull and venom. The nos recipe seems to have changed as of late though, at least they taste different.

No coffee because for some reason it gives me diarrhea. I also prefer a cold beverage to a hot one.

Venom is THE SHIT. First time I had it I was blown away at how strong it was. Back then I wasn't checking the exact amounts of caffeine in things , but I am willing to bet it had at least 200mg per can. Either that, or something in it amplified the effects. I haven't seen it around here in a while, though. If you can still get it, please inform me of its contents.
I'm gonna give Yerba mate a try.

Make sure you're getting plenty of plain water, like 8 glasses minimum per day. Probably more if your liver is processing all that extra stuff in the energy drink.

Energy drinks are really bad for you. I'd suggest lots of water and exercise.

Rockstar, original flavor. There is no high fructose corn syrup in them. There is still a lot of sugar in them, just not in the form of high fructose corn syrup. Also Marc11, care to site some sources for your blanket derogatory statement of an entire group of beverages?

And that has what to do with energy drinks? We all die eventually.

Did he drink more than two in a day? They all say not to drink more than two.
