Another 50's LSD experiment on an ordinary person * 1
    #19090363 - 11/05/13 02:13 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

A gorgeous window into the effects of genuine lab made LSD-25.

The video implies that LSD begins to wane in effects only 4 hours or so after ingestion. Interesting.

Part 1:

Part 2:

--------------------
On the ground you lay, with your dogs you pray, at a neon hieroglyph sky you gaze

Hugging your mind, praying to survive, feeling the love of the hieroglyphs in the sky
We all need more love, and mainly less hate
Hate is the blind that covers the heart's eye
That makes the heart's eye cry
Locked deep away in the skies of our minds

It's all in the mind

What is said in the video that makes you think that? Perhaps it's normal for low doses to not have significant effects after 4 hours? Can more experienced users chime in?

This just means you are peaking until 4 hours after ingestion.  Many people say they are no longer tripping at 8-9 hours, but I personally consider the time from 8-12 hours past ingestion to be "still tripping" even though it's mostly a post-LSD stimulated state.

for me it usually doesnt start dwindling for about 8 hrs ish,but a beautiful float back down afterwards... depending on dosage,if i have a high dose it tends to last slightly longer..but then again the majority of the time i'll end up redosing at some stage and making it into a wk-end!!!!

I always comedown completely but with an afterglow about 12 hours after effects hit everytime I've taken acid. The effects don't start diminishing until atleast 7-8 hours in and if smoking weed, it puts me back into strong visuals and mindset.

The effects usually start diminishing at around 4-6 hours for me, but I'm still tripping for several more hours after that. I usually feel it for 12 hours or so, til I doze off. Then I wake up with a beautiful afterglow.

This is my favorite LSD video. I like how eloquent this guy is. "I feel as if I'm several different people, and all of them better." And then the part where the colors are starting to wrap all around him and he feels benevolence. Ahh amazing!

Great find Magical!  This video makes me crave some lucy.:drooling:

The doctor seems like an impatient dick.  Not trip sitter worthy.  In the end though, that guy seemed to have a wonderful trip.

Bull shit. http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_effects.shtml

In my experience, LSD comes on slower and lasts longer than even in that diagram but follows the exact pattern. It typically lasts twelve hours for me with an added five hours of energy and dialated pupils and abstract thoughts and I'm 100% positive that its LSD. Mushrooms also come on slower and last longer for me than most people so I'm sure it's my physiology.

EDIT: The video may be referring to the fact that LSD usually leaves the body around the four hour mark which is why that after four hours there is no way to detect in within your system aside from the hair test which cannot tell you when it was used and is completely inaccurate.

They were probably talking about the actual peak, and everyone is different. But that video is more reliable than you because it's, like, sandoz shit man! Lol

Oh, that's so good. Thanks for posting!

I, too, love the guy's eloquence. I'd be tripping all over myself trying to put together a sentence. He seems like such an intelligent and awesome guy all around.

"things seem to apex in"

"all those things are so well known that there's no sense in doing them"

I really took note of that quote, I found it really interesting. I think his artistic mind really added to the intricacy and beauty of his trip, it sounded like he had a wonderful experience.

Agreed, terrible trip sitter and an awful distracting one at that.
I'm glad that the artist did seem to have a great trip, it sounded very colorful and fascinating!

Nice find, I enjoyed watching that.

If I was tripping when that doctor clapped loudly right in his face, I may have just snapped lol.  What a dick
