:lolsy:

I know I'm pretty damn smart (at least my friends tell me I am). I don't instantly judge people as idiots though when they say or do something incredibly stupid; because I've done things like that too.

Especially when I'm hungover or tired I tend to say some stupid things because I wasn't thinking. I normally recognize it after I say/do it though, and if someone didn't know me better or just met me they might think I'm a complete idiot. :lol:

I feel like this is true for the most part. A lot of times it's just that smart people realize they know very little.

Damn that sounds really psuedodeep but I think it's true

There are so many variables so what you're saying is innaccurate.

I'm not even sure what OP is seeking. A word that describes that behavior? The only thing I can come up with is "humility."

Im an absolute genius in my town. But on here im just a regular guy :smile:

Something there is mysteriously formed,
Existing before Heaven and Earth,
Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging,
All-pervading, unfailing,
I do not know its name; I call it tao.
If forced to give it a name, I call it
Great (ta). Being great, it flows out;
Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.

It's just a shot away..

i think its more of.. intelligent people think their not that smart because theirs an impossible amount of info to contain in this universe thus, leading them to feel like can't ever know everything, making them to feel less intelligent.  Thats how I feel a lot of the times at least. I know I'm not the most intelligent in a lot of areas though, thats for sure.

dumb people think they know everything because they just make up info and believe it to be true.

my grandpa does this all the time..it drives me nuts...hes bat shit crazy with a million billion conspiracies..he literally pulls his own made up facts out of his butthole..this is why when I go there I don't make any convo with him because all he does is try to force me to believe all these zany ass stories..and he will never admit hes wrong even if its very apparent and acts like he knows everything..this is true dumb ignorant ass people think they know everything and intelligent people always know theyres something more to learn

Literally? You know what that word means, right? You are saying your grandfather has something like a ticker tape coming out of his ass that has fabricated information printed on it.

i figured this out, there are many different smarts, so even dumb people are smart at 1 thing, it gets to the point where dumb/smart is too vague of a description, thus categorizing people as dumb or smart is pointless in most cases
