Habitat: growing in a old stump

Gills: light brown to brown

Stem: light brown to white

Cap: goldish brown to brownish color

Bruising:

General location: SE Texas

I found these in a ally I think they are Psilocybe cubensis but I wanted to be sure befor I tried them. Thanks for the help.

These look like young Armillarias, Honey Mushrooms.  Psilocybe cubensis doesn't grow from wood, and the lack of blue bruising is another clue.

Thanks, yea there's no blue on the stem or ring. Minus that the caps and stems look the same to me. Oh well it was worth a try.

For future reference, it might pay you off to research the habitat one finds cubes in. It would never be on a stump.
