yeah i have holes on all 6 sides. so i should re dunk all my cakes, clean out my perlite, get my sgfc higher up and fan more as in 4-5 times a day and see what happens?

Yes. Except, mist till the cakes glisten with moisture, then fan a little. Wait till the cakes don't glisten with moisture and repeat the process. Only fan after misting.

Don't think of it as a certain number of times required. Think of it in terms of how they look. Mist and fan when they look like they need it.

There's that special time when the cakes still appear moist, but not glistening like they are after misting. Check on them often to see how they evaporate. Once you get that mud cleaned out, you may see what I'm talking about and that yellowing should start going away.

i just cleaned out my sgfc and i noticed all the perlite was super fine at the bottom clogging all the holes. that must of been my problem. when i was cleaning it out last time i was using a hose. maybe the presure broke all the pieces up because it looked like silt on the bottom.
