Hello, im new here n' i've not had much exsperience shroom hunting, im trying to be cautious and not eating anything that i find without being sure i know what it is
i found this mushroom growing fairly close to where i live n' they look (to me anyway) fairly silmilar to P. semilanceata not to similar but i am curious as to what they acaully are.
any and all help is greatly appreciated
Habitat: found next to a wood in a field on a north facing hill
Gills: (im partially colour blind so im probably not the best person to be deciding on colour :S ) it looks to be a light gray maybe? i'll attach an image.
Stem: 2 - 4cm in length, diameter = maybe 1 or 2cm, texture is very similar to that of liberty caps i think ( its been awhile since i've found wild ones)
Spore print color: i've tried to take a spore print, i left the caps overnight on a piece of paper with an up turned glass over it n' no spores have apeared on the paper, i shall go pick some more n' try again if that would help.
thanks

lol thanks for the heads up :3 i just got back from another trek out to find some more shrooms, while i was out i went back to where i found those ones i took pics of n' they seem to have grown since yesterday

yah they deffinatly wernt what i thought they were >.< good to have a name to put to them tho, thanks btw. xD also i found a few other suspect specimens that if i didnt know any better (and im sure i dont) are liberty caps.
I also found some white-ish looking ones from the same place, i dont know if they would be ok to consume asuming that those are libs

thanks again for all your help.

I'm by no means a T.I but those new finds look promising for libs The color change happens when they dry out.
