Mescaline containing cacti
    #19088709 - 11/05/13 05:29 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Alright I'm a new member and have been searching the web for look alikes of the san pedro cactus. I currently have a specimen I know to be san pedro from experience but have acquired two new cuttings that I am having difficulty identifying beyond a doubt. I believe they may in fact be san pedros but I am not 100% sure if any of you with expertise in cacti identification can confirm it would be greatly appreciated

Welcome cactusguy213

They do appear to be T. pachanoi.

Thanks You Guys!!! That's what I was hoping! The lumpy tops on the one cutting had me stumped no pun intended. I was pretty sure but thought they might be some type of cerus I was unfamiliar with or perhaps a type of easter lily I could not find. I will update soon with potency info!!!

The one with the lumpy new branches looks like it may be showing monstrose growth, a desirable ornamental trait. I would hang on to and propagate at least that one if I were you.
