Dog accidentally ate 68mg of 4-AcO-DMT

So my friends dog got into his stash of 4acodmt chocolates and ate all 8 of them each containing 8.5mg. He rushed him to the vet hospital just to be safe (also because of possible chocolate being harmful) once he figured this out, and the dog was perfectly normal when they picked him up in the morning. Moral of the story is hide your psychedelic chocolates from your dogs, but also know that they will survive and no hospital care is needed, the dog will make it out just fine.

That advice is bullshit. Just because you think the dogs ok doesn't mean it is you have no idea of the physical or psychological trauma that may have happened and advising others to not take a pet to a vet if it eats your stash is stupid advice.

4-AcO-DMT possibly not active in k9's? not sure, but i do know shrooms are. My husky decided to go trash diving one afternoon after i had made a mushroom tea from 7g of dry cubes. When we got home our dog looked up at us from the couch, got up and jumped off the edge......only she didn't put her feet out to land and tumbled on the carpet. Poor thing tripped balls and couldn't walk around for about 72 hours, I had to take 2 days off work to sit on the bed with her. Shes fine now, no lasting side effects besides when she passes herself in the mirror now she always does a double take. Not sure what that's about.
Moral of the story: eat the shrooms you brew tea with, and be mindful of your pets (they're family). You were lucky, and so was I, I've heard some really sad horror stories of dogs getting into stashes and dying gruesome deaths.

By the description of how he was acting that my friend told me, the dog was tripping HARD. Whats surprisingly is the very next morning (dog ate them sometime in the evening) he was back to being his normal self, only a bit more curious to things. The vet doctor said he was fine and nothing to worry about.

It's toxicity is over hyped, Theobromine is the chemical that's dangerous but its concentration in anything below 82% chocolate will hardly ever be eaten by a dog.
Theobromines LD50 in dogs is 300mg/kg, your average dog weighs 20kg. The average chocolate bar has 64mg of Theobromine in it, so your dog would have to eat nearly 90 bars of chocolate to die of an OD....Its toxic, but not THAT toxic unless your dog is tiny.

The other week I was with a friend and had eaten some fun, but suddenly needed to be sick! The dog took advantage of this and started chomping down my puke whilst I inadvertently continued to barf on his dozy old head!
We were walking around for a bit when the dog suddenly bolted as he often did but this time mysteriously didn't return! We started shouting for him but he didn't return with my best friend the owner whining things like that was the last time we ever saw him!
I started getting worried and thinking that the dog was obviously now lost tripping balls when he suddenly appeared behind us! He had followed an early morning jogger -who was thankfully running on circuit- and eventually had been brought back to us! He wasn't tripping or upset in any way at all!
Terrible trip after that for me though!

This is true...they would have to eat a shit load of milk chocolate...the dark chocolates are the ones that have the highest amount of bad stuff with baking chocolate being the worst. And....yes...chocolate can be fatal...nothing to fuck with.
