Question about polyfil and humidity

I am planning to do a grow in a cupboard/cabinet with fans running through polyfil into the fc to provide FAE
If I run a humidifier in the cabinet will the humidity transfer through the polyfil? (I am trying not to have uncovered holes in the FC to avoid contams and am fruiting trays)
Or will I not have to worry about drawing in air without the polyfil?
Thanks

uncovered holes aren't going to cause your substrates to contaminate. Your worries will come from the small space you're going to attempt to grow in.

You'll likely destroy the cabinet you plan to work in. I'd guess the extreme humidity mushrooms love would be the bitter enemy of some wooden cabinet.
No, I'd say the humidity would not transfer through the polyfill. Think about a monotub, the tighter you stuff the poly-fill the less FAE it gets and therefore the more humidity the tub retains. Your cabinet should work the same way.
Also, I just want to make sure you're not planning to grow in your bathroom or kitchen cabinet/cupboard. Don't grow in either of these rooms.

most people trying to do something like this use an ultrasonic humidifier in a greenhouse type of setting. using a monotub tek would be cheaper and more effective, depending on how much spawn you plan on using

if you need to use fans, make sure it is indirectly pointed at the tub or from across a room.
I think you are trying to do a monotub...
even next to a closed window, if it is old and drafty enough will produce adequate fae.
It is stale air that is no good for fae, humidity is no problem with a well dialed monotub, so do not worry about that. in a cupboard you will need to worry about your fae.
I guess a small fan should at least give you conditions similar to outside of the cupboard.
How to position your polyfill holes, two 2" holes just above the substrate level on the long side stuffed tight, and 2 2-3" holes on the short side at the top of the tub stuffed loosely.

Loosing a bit of moisture in your sub is a pin trigger during fruiting.

Humidity shouldn't pass through the polyfil either direction. A monotub would work much better than trays in a tight space like that. And don't point the fan directly at the FC, I think too much air on it might dry it out faster?(anyone comment on that?)
oh and... Cool username! :P
