Shrooms & Exploring the Paranormal/Supernatural
    #19083795 - 11/04/13 01:03 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Would doing Shrooms assist in the Paranormal research? I keep reading so many threads about people triping and seeing spirits, demons, faeries, retilian beings, etc. I'm sure some of these things are mere hallucinations from the psylocybin, but what if some of these entities are real and you were actually had heightened vision from the psylocybin?

Would tripping on Shrooms and hunting the paranormal be wise? Shrooms heighten my senses to the point where I can only do them late at night when it's calm outside, thus the benefit of using them to notice things in Haunted places. I could see going into a bad trip being that you would be doing Shrooms in a Haunted place with negative thoughts that surronds, which was the primary reason you went to such an awful place.

Thoughts?

I think it could work.  I was just sitting in the dark and 'they' started manipulating my vision.

You beat me too it.  Whenever I see "what if" I can be fairly sure there is little of importance to follow.  Or let me say nothing we can really dig our teeth into.

You have just a tad too much of this stuff going to to be believable.  I'm not saying it's not true, I'm just saying you put my bullshit meter on overdrive.

para normal describes the psychedelic state, but it does not mean what spiritualists mean.

haunted houses are spooky places.

I think putting yourself into spooky places when you are extra sensitive and suggestible is cruelty to the self.

But I think exploring the psychedelic experience is wonderful when you treat yourself with respect: i.e. when you don't try to scare yourself silly, or challenge the inebriated self to do what the sober self is good at.
driving for instance.

the whole thing about ghosts is less paranormal than it is flaky and goofy.

I dunno. I mean, the Scooby Gang was into psychedelics and it seemed to work out alright for them on the ghost front.

Sorry.  Everything that I've said is the truth of what I'm experiencing.

Stressful.

Yes.  OP, I think you could produce results this way.

All you really have to do is start talking to them out loud and some entities will show you more and more.

I would sit in silent darkness, sober mind you, and something would guide my point of awareness to something without moving my eyes.  Then I would look where this pointing with my awareness was and there would be like a face as one example in the woodgrain.

The entities that are with me or that I'm in contact with see into my mind, read my thoughts, and see all around me.

When I was in Costa Rica a few years back they explained that they are they all seeing eye this way.
