Wouldn't smoking be exactly what the government doesn't want you to do under Obamacare? If health costs were nationalized regular healthy taxpayers would have to foot at least some of the bill for wheezy smokey cancer-ridden scumclass smokers.

LMAO you welcome a disease that the world spends billions trying to eradicate or at least medicate with a commercial incentive.

You chumps are not only feeding the government conspiracy, you're also feeding big pharma with your cancer bullshit.

I'd suggest if any of you do get cancer use a bullet instead of a pill. No need to drag your family in irreversible financial debt while simultaneously feeding the evil drug corporations and your beloved government.

Also I think cigs smell like a greasy butthole.

Chain smoking in certain situations but not always, and will quit somewhere down the line but not right now. Yep, you are officially addicted OP, congrats.

I think cigs smell glorious, and I support big pharma with my drug addiction to such a larger extent than my smoking habit ever will. And what's wrong with buying highly taxed products? Keeps the money flowing IDGAF

Apparenly you don't care about looking cool, bitches flock to me when I light up a smoke and blow that shitin there face to showmy domination

You seriously believe that? :burke:

If anything that notion has been designed to lure people away from thinking about the global conspiracy regarding smoking. I mean after all its obvious they're pushing something bad for you, at least they can try to pretend to "protect" you.

Next time I see a smoker I'm gonna stab him in the eye with a screwdriver, fucking government supporters.

Bitches are not a priority as long as I continue to have sex at least twice a day which automatically makes the idea of looking cool pretty much pointless.

Looking cool is for people with insecurities, the sexually frustrated and :scumbagsteve:

Nah, see you're wrong, it's my choice. Not the governments. Not the advertisements. I choose to pick up a cigarette. They are not "pushing" anything on me, especially in this day and age where smoking is socially taboo and the government from what I understand has more to gain by getting folks off cigarettes than on them. Maybe 50 years ago but sounds a little :tinfoil: for me.

Thats exactly what they want you to think. And I live in a place where they are about to bring smoking back in public places (for financial gain).

By the way when you do get cancer call me, ok? I have stolen a drug therapy design but I need test subjects (sick humans make better models than cell cultures).

Im with you on that its bad. I spend like 80$ a week on cigs because theyre around 10-12$ a pack where I live. Ive been smoking for about 2 years and im only 18 :frown: Im planning making the effort to quit soon but every time I try all I think about is having a smoke. Sometimes its not even like I need the buzz its just that im used to having a cig with coffee, after meals, before and after classes, at the bus stop, and before I go to bed. I feel weird going on with those activities without a smoke

Make sure you drink a lot of water.

One of the most insidious things that cigarettes do is trick the body's thirst reflex. Instead of reaching for water, smokers reach for a cigarette.

That might be why the cig tastes so good... because you're extremely dehydrated, and your body thinks that the cigarette is like a tall glass of water.

holy fuck, i don't spend 80 a week on anything. unless you count rent.

i thought spending $25 on cigs a week was bad, you should consider switching to e-cigs (mail orders). you will be much richer. a decent e-cig doesn't even cost 25 and it takes costs about 2 bucks a week to maintain at most (liquid and coil/wick replacing)

also the hydrating thing is bullshit, i am always thirsty and drink water after i smoked a cigarette.

Not explicitly that feeling, but I do think that I am going through that "I'm young who cares" phase, to some extent. Physically, according to blood tests and doctors, I'm a very healthy person, so I'm just kinda like...meh, why not just keep eating healthy, exercising, and listening to my body .

1 year-1 1/2 years ago I smoked marlboro reds(100's) quite heavily. I was walking everywhere and often wanted to smoke while doing that, had a really cool outdoor spot at my place to chill and smoke when I was home, or if I wasn't walking I was driving and stuck in heavy traffic for a minimum of thirty minutes on my commute, each way - - it was more having something to preoccupy myself with than anything. I quit mainly because it was expensive, hindered my fitness, and my lung capacity really started getting affected enough to bother me(especially as a scuba diver, I went through air much quicker), and it just made me feel kinda crappy overall.....never because I was really all that concerned about cancer. Ever.

Now I tend to go many weeks without a cigarette and have a a few a month, every other month or so though I seem to break down, buy a pack and chainsmoke through it and then I'm done for another month. It's odd. But better than consistently smoking, I guess. Either way, still not concerned about lung cancer(well...maybe if I keep breathing in the amount of paint fumes I have been while working), that didn't stop me from picking up the habit, it didn't provoke me into quitting.

This thread is full of :doublefacepalm: . It's not the government that wants you to smoke tobacco, its tobacco companies. Saying the government is the one trying to make you smoke so you die is foolish. Tobacco is popular because it makes people feel good. Saying people only smoke because they were tricked by a massive government conspiracy is like saying people do heroin so that harm reduction organizations will get more business.
Also the government doesn't put anything in tobacco, tobacco companies do. sheesh
