Armillaria sp... Which?

Growing in big clusters out of an oak stump where I find them every year!

I did not want to wait for the bugs and squirrels and deer so I got there first this year. 

What Armillarea are they?    I would not consider the caps to be 'scaly' but pretty smooth.  Perhaps a tiny bit of webbishness on the very young ones. 

I intend to eat these caps shortly after cooking them a LOT.  With garlic, of course.

It really looks a lot like a. mellea, here.  Except I thought that was not in the western U.S.

Could be Armillaria solidipes. How developed is the ring on the stem? Is it cobwebby or pretty thick and solid?

Thanks Suchen.  None have opened their caps yet.  They are all as shown above.  However, I "harvested" this same stump last year (though didn't eat them).  Here is a picture from last year of some more developed ones:
