Gymnopilus?

Habitat:
Found growing in hardwood chips used as mulch in a public park.

Gills:
Color is orange, attached.

Stem:
Length is 2-5 inches, color is brownish orange, pruinose, texture is firm and rubbery, solid, thick.

Cap:
Diameter 1-5 inches, color is orange'ish/brown , texture is smooth, spherical, convex, margin is inrolled.

Bruising:
none noticed.

Other information:
They smell just like other Gymnopilus I've found before, maybe a little sweeter.
I was thinking they are maybe something in the Gymnopilus nevadensis-penetrans group.

They do remind me of G.penetrans...not as orange as the ones I have seen tho. But I don't know how much that means...

I don't mind being ogled, ridiculed, made to feel minuscule.
If you consider the source, it's kinda pitiful
The only thing you really know about me is.....That's all you'll ever know!!!!
