Habitat: Where does it grow? In a Hardwood forest in South Central Wisconsin. What does it grow on? Found growing on rotting hardwood, lots of moss present
Gills: Color: rusty brown, attached.
Stem: Length:2-3.5 inches, diameter: 1-3mm color: dark orange with white flecks, hollow ,thin
Cap: Diameter:1-3 inches color: rusty orange to orange-brown (although one was a yellow-orange, texture: smooth, concave.
Spore print color: in progress
Bruising: none noticed

As soon as i got home, i found a little slug nibbling on the gills c:

Also some cool stuff i found today:
1) Armillaria maybe Notice the Mycelium growing on the surface of the moss:

2) no clue what this one is (white spores though and im assuming VERY poisonous?) I never seen one like this before. it looks like the gills are growing on the top of the cap as well.

3) Thought you guys would think this was cool; a limestone cave that goes about 20 feet back (possibly more). I got a really eerie feeling from it so i didnt get any closer (can you say puss-cake?) :

4) Not much to say about these, saw them growing right outside the cave and thought they looked cool. the caramel cap and dark spores (almost the darkest brown ive yet to see) got me thinking "Acctivvvee!!" but i doubt they are. any guesses?

5) Found these little guys all snuggled up in a huge rotted out knot:

6) These are everywhere and im sure everyone knows what these are (except me that is)... any help on this one?

7) Now i know this isnt a fungus, but does anyone know what this is? It grows on a thin vine and seemed to be taking over the trees (most of these things are dead and dried up i just grabbed the freshest looking ones)

IDK if you can see, but inside these little pockets are seeds that almost resemble sunflower seeds

I really like the ones in the rotted out not. It's really interesting to see them growing like that.
