I always found a nice warm shower to help.

Soft music, less lighting? Think of beautiful mushrooms and people that you love.

I shouldn't think so. It's a bad mix with anxiety.

I found watching cartoons brought me back, something happy and funny. Also soft chill music.

yup yup...less stimuli.....NO ADDERALL! As was said before a benzo will help. Marijuana always helps me as well.

Change your setting (step outside if you can) and take off your shoes. Feel the ground with your feet. Here's some happy music

I ended up having a decent, deeply introspective trip. The reason I was having a bad trip at first is because I was in a car while I was coming up. Once I arrived at my house, I felt much more comfortable. The rest of the trip was basically what I would describe as a comfortable depression. I bonded with a few friends, and I enjoyed the experience overall. It was nothing like when I did acid, though. Acid had me laughing non stop for hours and I was seeing complex fractals.

If you know anyone who is schizophrenic or bi-polar ask them what meds they're on. Some anti[psychotics like largactil (chlorpromazine) can shorten the trip. Vallium can help as well.
Stay safe xx

I am amazed that you could even manage to type while having a bad trip.
Not that I've yet had one, but every time I've had a dose of shrooms strong enough to be in danger of having one, I've lost all understanding of written language, the the extent of being utterly unable to figure out how to start the email client and web browser I use every single day on my PC, and kept wondering "when did I install this crazy wavy rainbow theme" (shimmering rainbows were streaming off the left edge of every vertical line on my screen)!
That was about 150-200 libs (about 2 years old but they'd been kept dry in a freezer.)
Mind you that was damn good - I walked 4 miles through nightlife in the city and finally ended up lying in the bath with my clothes on, laughing like a madman with the cold tap running over my forehead!
But I've have plenty of scary come-ups, I feels sometimes like being on a runaway train. I'd not like to come up in a hectic situation (eg car ride)!

If things start getting hairy for me, I always change into my favorite, most comfortable, and least restrictive clothes (or go naked if it warm enough) and turn on some form of media (music, cartoons, funny movie - monty python's Holy Grail is indispensable for me in these situations) that I've known and loved for ages. focusing on my breath helps too.

great advice.
Naked and listening to Tool (Lateralus- the whole album minus "the grudge" and "ticks and leeches") is my fix.
I usually go on solo journeys, so the nudity isn't an issue.
