OP it really sounds like your GB.ultrasound only can see gallstones,it cant see sludge or faulty extraction of the GB,which is what I had..to be thorough you must ask your doc for a hydoscan, which is the main test for your GB..it wasn't till I had my hydoscan did they find out it was my GB..ask your doc!
and yes even though I lost my GB I still drink quite a bit although I don't recommend it

It may very well be my gallbladder. Did you ever get gallbladder pains from exertion? That is, cardio or any other type of exercise? And did you have pains in your side after consuming caffeine?
I will often get the pain in my side during/after a cup of tea or coffee. The worst of it is usually gone within 30 minutes, though.
At this point, I am only going to see a doctor again if it gets worse. Sitting here right now, my side feels totally fine. This is probably the case much of the time now. Taking into account the medical expenses and the fact the pain isn't ruining my life, I am going to ride this out.
I still haven't drank since mid-January. I don't know when or to what extent I will return to alcohol. I really love drinking as it always seems to let the good times roll, but binge drinking every weekend is just totally out of the question.

tbh GB is part of the hepatic system, and I do not recommend drinking w/ GB problems, but really its fat in your foods that clogs up the GB...you can drink once you get your GB out but if you don't get it out it will be uncomfortable/painful when you drink..i had GB pain for about 3 years before It finally got so bad I went to the doctor..also never had pain when I exerted my self in my side but when I drank coffee it would hurt

First bout of alcohol consumption in about three months is occurring as I type this. Side is feeling fine at the moment. I'll see about tomorrow when tomorrow comes.
Either way, not making alcohol consumption activities the purpose of every weekend of the rest of my life.

If you're going to start drinking again, atleast consume around a gallon of water daily.
