Shrooms trapped inside growkit, need advice

So i have a couple of shrooms growing on the bottom of my growkit and some on the side, and i read if you leave them there the kit could get infected...so i was wondering if i should take the substrate out and put it in a bigger container so the shrooms that are on the side could grow upwards and i could pick them. Or should i just leave them there and hope they will grow on the surface eventually....i already put a cloth around the growkit so the only light source is from above. I was also thinking that i could put the substrate on half let each side grow...pick the mushrooms and then put it back together and in the original casing and pour water in it so a new flush would grow. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Probably will just get absorbed back into the sub if you left em. I usually don't worry about them until I have harvested a few flushes, then I might pop the sub out and clean em off.

Getting that sub into a proper SGFC would be a good idea all around. If you were to do that, popping the sub out would give you more fruiting area.

Unnecessary, light from the side is fine and side pins are the result of the microclimate created from the gap that forms when the sub shrinks and pulls away from the sides.

You sure i should just leve them alone? Most of them are small but like 2 or 3 are big as the biggest ones that grow on the top
Btw whats a SGFC....i was wondering to put the sub in a 3 liter icecream container (the sub is curently in a 1 liter container)

SGFC = Shotgun Fruiting Chamber.
A clear tub with 1/4" holes drilled in a grid pattern, spaced every two inches, on all six sides (especially the bottom). Fill will 4"-5" of moist perlite, then place your cakes or sub inside. Be sure to have something under the cakes or sub so it is not making direct contact with the perlite. Mist and fan 2-3 times a day and presto, yer done.

Its just bruising from them being shoved against the sides. Go build yourself a proper SGFC asap, pop that sucker out of the container, and those little guys will probably just fucking blow up.

They will probably be ok, just expect lots of aborts and stunted mushies. You will probably end up with a more disappointing pinset on top as the sub will be putting most of its energy into those side pins. But I wouldn't worry about the sub contaming. Bit of a shame tho, some of those side pins look promising.
Think of this as a good lesson; a growkit thrown together by someone who doesn't give a crap if you see results and just wants a buck, will never replace the knowledge and results you will get by doing your research and doing it right (for cheaper too).

Perlite is necessary for a SGFC to work.
It's probably still called perlite in most languages.
What language do you speak and what country do you live in? Send me a PrivateMessage(PM) if you want and I'll try to help you out.
