Iboga for nicotine addiction

I got mildly addicted to this Amazonian snuff which contains nicotine, and after running out of it I got one of those e-cigarettes and I find myself craving it now. I hear iboga is good for quitting smoking, has anyone here tried it? I have some iboga left, but I don't use it often since it gives me insomnia. I'm hoping microdosing would do the trick though. Anyone here tried it?

Haven't tried it, just read here and there to find out if I should.
I've seen for heroin addictions people use repeated smaller doses, but there's also that other way, of actually taking a large one, for a full proper 12 hour trip, and the expected result is that it allows you to reconfigure a few things in your head, analyze your past etc, and also cut cravings over a longer time period.
A large dose will of course cause you a night of lost sleep or something, but if it works it'd be worth it, right?
Google more and take care.

Yeah a flood dose is what the doctor orders (or would order if they weren't in the business of keeping people on drugs) if you have a heavy physical dependence on opioids, but for psychological addictions, and mild physical dependence, I hear microdosing works. You need to prepare yourself for a flood dose, not something you'd wanna do without an experienced sitter, considering you're legs tend to turn to jelly and you can't walk. Highest dose I've done so far is 12g root bark and only had very mild psychedelic effects like visuals and tracers, so I'm guessing you need at least 20g for a flood.
I'm gonna experiment with this soon, only problem is all I have is an alcohol extract that someone gave me, I've had it for months so I hope the ibogaine hasn't degraded into something else. I read that iboga alkaloids are pretty instable, especially when in freebase form.
