Thanks a lot for the info!

I tried to search the net for types you guys have specified, but the info seems vague. Do any of you have consumed these?

They are vague cause these are hard to identify genera and I'm not sure there is enough information to identify these further.  A spore print could help with determining between Panaeolus and Panaeolina.  The Psathyrella will need pictures of many more specimens of different stages of development and thorough microscopy to identify confidently.

Thanks.

I found that Psathyrella may be poisonous. Is it true?

I found did not find either  Panaeolus and Panaeolina is poisonous, on the net. If they are either  Panaeolus/Panaeolina, Will we eat them and try?

Thanks

Please take a spore print and describe the colour of it, as well as your current climate conditions.

And no, absolutely do not eat any mushroom that isn't 100% identified, unless you want to die a slow, painful death over several weeks due to kidney/liver/renal failure. There are many better ways to die than that, so take the time in the future to collect as much information as you can on the mushroom and its habitat.

Here are some guidelines and a template for future ID requests:

Pictures:

All pictures should be well-lit and focused, as in not blurry. Take pictures of the mushroom in the habitat you found them in, and also make sure to take close-ups of the underside of the gills which includes the stipe (stem).

Text description sample template:

Habitat: Wood - Found in deciduous woods, growing straight from a fallen rotting tree.

Gills: The gill color varies from a white to a light pinkish color. The gills are free.

Stem: Whitish, pretty fragile, slightly enlarged at base. 2cm wide.

Cap: Brown to gray, smooth, not hygrophanous, 3-6 inches across.

Spore print color: A light pink color.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: North East Coast region of the USA.

If you take the time to do these things, then not only will we be able to identify them more accurately, you will also be more perceptive to that type of mushroom, and you'll retain more knowledge about the various mushrooms that you find.

There is no reason to eat these.  They are not hallucinogenic and they are not considered a good edible.

Yes, but yours are more than likely not hallucinogenic. They won't poison you if you eat them however. Perhaps some indigestion if you don't cook them or otherwise prepare them.
