Amanita Muscaria ID!! Or Russula emetica?

Habitat: Farm (many horses/goats. Near Rome, Italy.
Stem: white, no noticeable rings.
Cap: red, no noticeable spots/could they have washed off?
Ok so this friend of mine sent me a pic of some mushrooms he picked in his garden. We're both complete 'noobs' when it comes to mushrooms.. Sorry for the crappy description, but I havent had the chance to see them in person yet. And sorry for the lousy pic, but are these Amanita Muscaria?

EDIT: Friend says that the mushrooms didhave few white spots when he found them on the ground.

I'm going to go with Russula, because I'm not seeing any bulbs with concentric rings.

It's a Russula species.

Friend says this happened: He picked them up and they had visible white spots. He put them in the plastic bag and the spots kind of liquified and vanished. All he had left were the mushrooms and a little puddle of water in the bag. Makes a difference?

No. These are obvious Russula by the color and texture and the look of the gills.

For future reference, plastic bags are a mushroom killer.

These are Russula. Amanitas this small would still have most of their veil and would most likely be egg shaped. I do not see any shagginess at the base either.
