Sorry if this is in the wrong place but it seemed like the best place to post.
I found a forgotten bottle of blue lotus wine that I brewed almost a year and a half ago. There's some sediment, the same amount there was initially. Is this safe to drink? Should I shake it and drink the sediment as well?
thanks

TPE is for specific substances only. ODD has no dosage advice.
I think we can keep this one here for now

I would presume it is just flowers added to the wine and then shake on a regular basis and drink after a few weeks (not certain on the time frame ) I haven't heard of it being done any differently. Vodka is good as well makes a great summer drink with juice I like it with orange and mango. Defiantly has an effect a bit like a stone on top of a potent drink. Seems to hit a lot harder than a straight vodka shot.
I have some kicking around somewhere that would be a year or so old. I would think it would be still ok but there is always some doubt. In vodka I think it would last better than wine mainly because the wine could go off but you should know as soon as you tried it as it would taste like vinegar.
Cheers Got

I agree with GoT, if the wine tastes/smells good enough to drink then go for it.

You can also dissolve blue lotus extract into wine also.

I want everyone to check out a book I just bought The Drunken Botanist. Its a pretty good read so far.

I've tried this and noticed nothing but horrible tasting wine. Good luck!
