Can't tell if troll.. or... DOx compounds are notorious for taking hours to kick in. You'll be lucky to feel it in the next two hours.

Also, DOB was the most amphetamine-like psychedelic I've ever taken. I sure as hell would not dose it by pounding a Monster Energy Drink, lol. And yeah, it took about three hours to kick in. That's one of the reasons I later figured out it was DOB.

Oh yes. My pupils were still saucers 16 hours after I came up(which took about three hours) and I stopped checking after that and was working on getting sleep at that point. The next day was like an emotional floodgate when I woke up in the morning, I wept in the shower. The trip was kind of like psychedelic anxiety. Not terribly fun. The effect it had on lights and perceived lights was quite bizarre. It also caused some classic paisley swirling effects and aural phenomena, and at one point a cat I lived with was a little swirl of energy and was behaving very strangely and sensuously almost dissolving into the carpet in a sort of whirling fractal dance, but the light effects were the most striking. Not very mental at all.
The most positive thing that came out of it was I quit smoking tobaccco for like a year after the trip because of a weird experience I had coming up where I had the sensation I was pulling spectral cobwebs out of my lungs through my sternum with my fingers. (It also seemed for a short time as if the air immediately around me or the light cast onto the sides of stucko walls was producing smoke, I think this was a sensory response to my consideration of smoking.) Considering that Shulgin suspected it was metabolized in the lungs(hence why the come up is so delayed) is interesting and makes a strange sort of sense.
