Get a life? Weird...
All who agreed on inocybe, thanks, that would explain why no one hunts where I found them...
I think my next hunt will be grass land instead of woods, for http://www.shroomery.org/9464/Conocybe-cyanopus...
But could be out of season.... Hunting is not easy in quebec

Yes; a life. As opposed to a death, either yours or a friend's.
If you want to take mushroom hunting seriously; It's great. It's involved, it's a wonderful way to spend your time and take a break from day-to-day rigamarole. You'll love it.
On the other hand, you or your friends eating random mushrooms is going to end in tears and there is no excuse not to have already known that; to the extent that I don't even feel like taking that statement seriously. You're the third user in a couple of days to register the account here, mention eating random mushrooms, with the same manners of speech/typing and I believe you're all the same troll.
Prove me wrong by sticking around.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I understand. I got friends like that too. Just keep an eye on him. Mushroom poisoning could take up to two weeks to show its ugly face at times. It can kill you. Just try to make sure no one consumes unknown mushrooms if you can. Its a big no no here. We get it all the time. Someone will get told what it might be and say im going to eat some of them. Its dangerous. Theres old mushroom hunters and bold mushroom hunters, there are no old bold mushroom hunters

Thanks for that!
Well, I've been with him the entire time... Says he has no effects at all, I mean ill symptoms or things like that... But i showed him the description "The symptoms start early, after one-quarter to two hours, with headache, nausea, vomiting, and constriction of the pharynx. Then salivation, lacrimation, and diffuse perspiration set in, combined with miosis, disturbed accommodation, and reduced vision. Gastric and small bowel colic leads to diarrhea, and there is a painful urge for urination." and abracadabra he says he won't do it again... I guess he feels like he learned his lesson

Yup... I learned also... Little brown mushrooms... Not easy to identify... Potentially deadly... Not worth anything unless for microscopy... Thanks again

There are no active Inocybe. It's also not pointless to try to ID them. Yes, many are poisonous.

Do you know which ones? Inocybe aeruginascens ,Inocybe calamistrata, Inocybe coelestium, and Inocybe corydalina are all listed as active on wiki.....which is incorrect. I think there may be one active species in Europe (Inocybe tricolor) but I can't find much info on that.

I thought all off those were active except for I.calamistrata. Inocybe haemacta from Europe is reportedly active.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15014640#15014640 Sporulator has eaten several Inocybe species, so I trust his statements.
