Question about measurement settings on ToupView Amscope camera software

I recently purchased an Amscope with a MD35 camera ocular piece. I'm using ToupView software to view and take measurements. I can't get the measurement function to measure in MU, it wants to measure in pixels.
Does anyone use this software or understand how to change the measurement function to MU rather than pixel?

If you are running windows you'll probably enjoy piximetre far more.
It installs in French but works in English.

I second this, and I think discussion of this topic would be incomplete without also mentioning ImageJ.
Piximetre does a lot less than ImageJ, so it might be easier for beginners. Both have support for web / scope cams.
Both are free.

Yea it's super easy!
Make sure to do crush mounts when measuring cystidia, it doesn't do any good to measure how much the cystidia sticks out of the gill...
I've learned more about microscopy in the last couple months than I have in the past 7 years, due to hanging out with Peter Werner. The most important take-home lesson was to use extremely small amounts of material, almost microscopic. 80 micrograms of material is perfect, pretend the mushroom is LSD crystal. Press down real hard to crush the the cells and seal all the water out.
If you plan to look at it for more than a couple minutes, ring the cover slip with nail polish.
I wasted so much time doing image stacking for increased depth of field, when I should have just pressed the cover slip down really hard to make everything flat. Don't press it with your finger directly, you'll make a fingerprint that blurs the image. Press it down with a new paper towel / napkin / kimwipe / lens paper over your thumb. Give it a lot of pressure, like ten pounds worth. If you see broken spores, you pressed too hard.
Also it really helps to use a dissecting scope when you are slicing the mushroom. That way you can very precisely get only the part you want.

Every time
But of course as a hacker Alan, you should know to hold Alt and type 0189 on the number key pad (numbers to the right of the keyboard, not top).
... Who am I kidding? That's for Windows, you're probably using some crazy form of Linux
I think that's the first time I'v ever see you use a graemlin!
