Common names should not be capitalized.

but the stem looks like Gallerina something
Latin names should be in italics, and the spelling can be checked by pasting it into google, or using Index Fungorum.

But abreviations still may be, though in a non contracted form, I suppose it would then require the terminal period.

and also did they drop any spores when you picked them or after? Gymnopilus are said to be prolific spore producers meaning they willingly drop spores. A lot of folks who find them claim their fingers turn orange from the spores or that the log they found them on or area is covered in orange or burnt orange spores.

I c they were wet ok. Honestly bud we r all routing for them to be! But no one will give you a positive ID without spore prints and more pictures. Its just easier that way patience is key

Got to,lay them cap up gills down to make a spore print. It works faster if u put a glass over top of it too by morning or even in a couple hrs u should have a descent spore print

Smushing a mushroom down doesn't expedite sporulation, you gotta just set it and forget it for 8 hours.
