I biked up to the one place I can hike in my town. I didn't bring my camera with me unfortunately, but I plan to go back up this weekend These were shoved in my backpack. A sin, I know. I have never been taught how to hunt, and my field guide says to learn from an expert before eating foraged fungi. So I have just been looking I have some friends that are going to teach me. I'm too paranoid I'm gonna poison myself.

I saw a lot of honey mushrooms. I think there was some oysters too. I'll take pics when I go back later.

It appears you have an Amanita species possibly A. muscaria(the top mushroom in the pic) and a mature specimen of Hypomyces lactifluorum.
Without picture of the stipe (stem) it is hard to get a proper identification on your Amanita.

The Amanita had a bulbous stalk with these fleshy rings. I looked for the rings because I read a guide on this forum for hunting A. muscaria. The habitat was under pine trees. There was about 10 A. muscarias there. Sorry, I should've had some pics of the stalk before posting it.
My field guide says the lobster mushroom could "parasitize a poisonous fungi." How can you ID what mushroom it is a parasite of? Should I just toss it?

Lobsters are Hypomyces lactifluorum parasitizing either Russula or Lactarius. I find them and eat them often during their season. I usually find the host mushroom lurking somewhere close by so I can guess at the host name sometimes. There's no macroscopic information (other than size- with Russula brevipes as the host) that I can think of that would help you identify the host.
You are safe to eat the lobster you found. Cook it well and only eat a small portion for your first time. If you are interested, here's an article that will help you understand further. Tom Volk

I've been super busy lately. These are from last weekend.
Is this P cyan habitat? There's loads of wood-chip composting patches at this place. There's no mushrooms growing in them, some growing through it though.

1 and 2 are probably Amanita. Compare to Amanita gemmata. 3 4 and 10 probably an Armillaria species 5 is probably a decaying Russula. Compare to R. brivipes 6 gymnopus species, maybe Hypholoma fasciculare 7 the big terrestrial clump may be a Psathyrella sp. 9 and 11 are a type of varnished conk (sorry the Latin eludes me) 12, 13 and 15 are in the Plurotus family.
That is the best I can do by sight and with the information provided. Be %100 percent on all your IDs before you consume any mushroom.

Forum Rules
6. No asking when or where mushrooms, or a specific mushroom species will grow. This includes, asking what habitat a mushroom[s] can be found- or their preferred fruiting conditions. This can be very simply answered by using the "search posts" feature: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/search.php
If you post a proper ID request for a specific mushroom you found we can help you out.
