I see what you're saying. I guess I was most attracted to how he could twirl a drum stick while also playing. And when he threw the stick behind his back and caught it and kept playing   wow

yeah, that's some shit, right there. i mean, he has some phat speed on those sticks. he's what the music world refers to as a natural. that's why he can attract a whole crowd cheering with just him on drums and nothing else.

That was siiiiiiiiiiiick! How many sets of drums are there lol

The only part I didnt like is how loud the audience was. Their cheering covered up the sound of him drumming alot

Playing 4 different crazy time signatures over a 4/4 beat is insanely difficult, not to mention the nuance in his playing in general.

PS: the nuance is what it's all about. other then that, playing this isn't THAT "insanely hard". it's just a good ear and a good rhythm. i mean, it's hard. but not that hard; it's 4/4... it's easy to play lots of shit in 4/4.

it needs to be said, that drums are a pretty hard instrument to be studied on, but it's easy to be really good and have alot of unique style and is easier to compose music with drums; so it's rather an intermediate instrument in difficulty.

stringed instrument, and then bowed instruments are harder. (way harder) brass and woodwinds are relatively harder. (some MUCH harder) piano is another easy instrument. perhaps maybe the easiest.

on a scale from easiest up to harder instruments, drums are second to piano. (and then again, there are older lesser "piano types", that are easier; and not to mention with percussion and drums there is a variability in how many pieces you're playing)
