Habitat: pine forest on the forest floor


Gills its got pores

Stem is not hollow


Cap sticky as fuck so sticky it would pick up leaves sticks anything it touches trying to take the leave or sticks off would peel the skin off with it


Spore print n/A but the veil is purple blackish

cap has skin on it thats peels off in 1 piece

over all i have no clue whatsoever as to what these are :shrug:

It's a Suillus species.  Can you get it to bruise blue at the stem base or the pores?

not really bruising blue it kind of has a blue tint where the gills are touched and where the skin is peeled off it stains paper yellow
actually this specimen did leave a spore print it was in my refrigerator would a picture of the spore print help.

They look a little like Suillus caerulescens.  But you would see blue bruising in the stem - particularly at the base - when you cut it.

Someone else might know what type of Suillus it is.  :grin:

I hope so thanks lhun I love finding exotic mushrooms like this and finding out what they are :awethumb: say are Suillus caerulescens psycoactive they bruise blue but probably arent? but blue bruising how curious i am

Many Boletes (and Suillus) bruise blue, but unfortunately it's not because of psilocin.

most likely Suillus luteus here's a photo found on google it seems almost exactly the same a few minor differences but im pretty sure its Suillus luteus
