Some of today's finds

#1 Habitat: Ireland. Mountain pasture. Directly on dung.
Cap: Similar in appearance to libs. Separable pellicle. Spore print color: Purplish brown
Bruising: None observed

#2 Thought this might be a lib but the gills look very light in colour.

#3 Same habitat as those above. Growing on or near dung. Black spore print.

OOo, looks like you had a nice day :-) Nice pictures!
I would call them 1. deconica coprophila 2. psilocybe semilanceata (for sure) 3. /edit: actually a panaeolus sp.
-------------------- It's fine.

I suppose that the first one could be Psilocybe fimetaria if you noticed any bluing... it's the right time of year, right habitat, right location.

would any TI agree with number 2? It certainly does have the feel and texture of a lib, but I didn't notice any bruising either.

There are similarities for sure, but I'm not comfortable calling it a Liberty cap based on those pictures. As you mentioned above the gills look light; and the cap margin seems off as well. Do you find semilanceata in this general area regularly? Did you spore print it?

For sure there's libs there. I had assumed that this was a sterile one and I've already dried it, but I think I'll throw it away. If it's not a lib it's the closest lookalike I've found yet.

It may be a lib - but I agree, the best course would be to bin that one.
