The pored mushrooms are Suillus because they have glandular dots on the stem. Leccinum species have what are called scabers on there stems.

That's usually the case. I'm WAY too analytical. I've been told that a lot. That's what's going to make me so good at mycology.

Ahhh sounds like my poor hubby... He's been looking for the BLG's forever. Not to mention azzies and cyans. He finally hit the gold mine on cyans and azzies at least though. Now onto the gyms.

Thanks for the ID help guys.
The gilled ones fit Tricholoma fracticum so I'll go with that. They say inedible but only because the taste is bad. I'm still tempted to try a tiny bite. They smell really good.
I looked through the suillus key at mushroom expert and it's F*cking long. Got stuck in the key pretty quickly. I think I need a younger specimen because the color change drastically with age. I really want to know what this is because it smells so amazing.

parboiled a tiny wedge one of the tricholoma. Texture is delightful, light, chewy but firm. No taste followed up with a very bitter after taste. I spat it out lol.
