When people make great art, or memorable speeches, or act a certain way that sets them apart... Do you think these people are completely aware of what effect they have? Is their production one of their own awareness or do they simply do these things?
I don't know if this question makes sense to everyone but it's something I've been pondering. If anyone needs clarification/examples let me know.

I feel that those who are great don't know they are great because they spend their time pondering external Ideas instead of Internal ones.

The external and internal is a very good point. It seems like many of the greats have hovered towards escapism through acting, art, drug use etc. and this may be an attempt to only focus on the external.

It's the effect of the communication between certain areas of your brain. Some connections are stronger than others, and people naturally have a predisposition to certain areas of their brain, which in turn are 'exercised', and grow larger. You can literally train your brain. Fluid intelligence and learning, the infinite pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.

Don't discredit introspection. Or do, your choice. Some introverts love being underestimated.

Self-awareness doesn't really seem like something you can train. It's either there, somewhat there, or barely at all.
