You sound like someone who doesn't get laid often
And you sound like a neck beard basement-dwelling beta male. Perhaps untrustworthy homosexual.
LOL beta male, okay mister sensitive, don't have to get butthurt and project yourself now

Ok I'll admit I didn't read every post here, but.......
how in the hell do you, as a legitimate dopefiend, honestly expect to keep a regular dope habit from somebody you're in a relationship with? (unless you're just a chipper or something, idk). i've been through years of heroin addiction, and when you're in that state, the only "proper" partner for you is another junkie, because no normal rational person would put up with that shit. how would you explain being dopesick to her? the nodding out? trust me, even though you don't think it is, it is SUPER FUCKING OBVIOUS to regular people when you are a junkie, even though it feels normal to you, it really stands out. if she's spent any serious amount of time with you already, i'm surprised she hasn't noticed something is up. we junkies operate on a whole different frequency...........

you make some good points.
I'm worried she does know something is up.

off-topic a little bit, but on the subject of two dopefiends in a relationship together........
my bf and i would have the most HORRID fights over who got to do more dope that day, and we were so paranoid about it we were always fighting accusing the other person of doing drugs behind the other person's back (not because we were mad about them doing drugs, we were mad that the other person was doing drugs alone and NOT SHARING everything 50/50 lol, we were each so drug-hungry!!) i really don't miss those arguments AT ALL. you'd do well to cut that shit out & get with a non-opiate using girl (but i know that is easier said than done, it literally took us about 2 years to get "back to normal" after quitting the junkie lifestyle, and not like our first few tries were successful, it takes a while to "get it right")......dopefiend relationship problems are the worst

Damn, makes me feel totally thankful that I've never seen any heroin, nor ever met any addicts to get fucked up ideas about trying it.
OP, I don't know if you should tell her or not, and if you tell her I don't know if now is the best time or gradually after she knows you better. In any case I hope you kick the habit and find more positive things to share with this girl.

Knowing a few heroin addicts has had the opposite effect on me. Makes me never want to touch the stuff.

Knowing some heroin users/addicts gives one SOME chances of trying it out. Depends on the addicts.
Knowing none at all leaves it at 0% chances, which is probably best, especially when young and clueless. Glad I knew none growing up.
Good vibes OP, get your head in order. Please remember there's things you can try, that might offer genuine help. See peyote sweat lodge, ayahuasca ceremony, ibogaine. Google that stuff and travel and DO IT, don't just stay home hoping and kidding yourself, sending your funds to the same ol' dealer.

I've done week or 2 long breaks recently. Its easy enough to get through the physical withdrawals.
What got me was the depression afterward. I have a history with depression

Yea dude, that's why you use the wisdom / medicine plants. Save up the cash, resolve to show up and take that stuff. I'd seriously try with aya first, or even a good peyote sweat lodge might go a long way. Ibogaine is quite expensive especially in a clinic. Also much more dangerous than Aya as far as I know. Do your research, that's free.
The cheapo fast solutions you'll get from pharma pills are just that, cheap, not real solutions. Show up for real plant medicine and you're much more likely to get real help. It's on you, do your own research.

Seriously I just gotta say fuck dope. It ruined the relationship of me and my bestie since kindergarten. I fucking miss that kid but honestly I can't put myself in that position anymore.
I sincerely hope you kick the junk man. I've never seen anything sink its teeth into somebody like a healthy dope habit.

I didnt read any of the above posts, but if you get HER involved in YOUR habit - I'll be disappointed. Its my opinion, but if someone wants to RUIN their life with herion, they should be the ones to figure it out, not have another person give them that opportunity.
