I disagree, BRF cakes are probably the most efficient method. No other substrate can yield the same weight in product, per weight of substrate like PF cakes.
I've had great yields from the PF Tek, if one wishes to increase yields try obtaining an isolate from agar.
But to each their own.

I also disagree and many upon many of people will contrast your claim that BRF cakes are the most efficient. But like you said to each his own.

Usually i argue with Notahacker too but he's right here.
If your shooting spores in an LC or grain jar there are almost endless
possibilities of genetics there. You can make 10 different LC's and just
put a drop of spores in each one and your still going to get thousands
of genetics. No way your going to get any isolation of dominant myce.
When you g2g each receiving jar could develop different genetics even lol

I have to agree withdyngbreed, the pf tek is the fastest method from spores to fruits bar none

So so far we have.
a guy why needs to Do some reading about genetiCs.
And the PF tek debate.
There's no debate if you want to do grains bulk then do them if you want to stick with PF stick.
Start with PF either stay and be happy with how much you make which is just fine or go to bulk
Start with bulk and succeed first time fail go to PF tek or try again.
If you NEED the yields and you cant figure out how to do bulk yourself and pull it off maybe you shouldn't be growing that many shrooms.
Bulk doesn't always have to be bulk. For instance I make bricks with 2Q spawn 2Q substrate and fruit them in a SGFC.
I need PF scale operation but it's less tedious to make 1 big bulk cake vs 12+ pf cakes.
Work on your agar technique and then fruit in a way that suits you.
