I find college basketball way more exciting than the NBA, at least until the NBA playoffs start
Preseason rankings are out 1. Kentucky 2. Michigan State 3. Louisville 4. Duke 5. Kansas 6. Arizona (going to have a really fun team to watch this year) 7. Michigan (my favorite to win the tourney GO BLUE) 8. Oklahoma State 9. Syracuse 10. Florida 11. Ohio State 12. North Carolina 13. Memphis 14. VCU 15. Gonzaga
Im ready for basketball season

Well they just did
I am a utah fan, hence why I’m rooting for kansas. Wiggins is going to the be the savior of the Jazz.
If the jazz have the chance to draft him and don’t there is a pretty good chance ill stop being a jazz fan for quite a while.

Its all opinion man.
Im sure if i went to one of the perennial powerhouse school that every NBA play goes to i would like it more, but i don’t.
This year since the jazz will win 1 out of 10 games I’m going to watch a lot more NCAA games.

I think it really depends on what teams you watch/like. Some college teams run offenses that are way fun to watch, others are sloppy and/or simple, boring even depending on how much you like the sport. Some people get into what the analysts are saying, others don't. If the game is a blowout the announcers usually end up BSing more than analyzing anyway.
It also depends on how good the team is. I'd rather watch Duke than the Wizards, but I'd rather watch the Heat than Duke. A lot of college match ups are just not interesting unless they are ranked to some people, so there are just a lot of factors. I don't like how in college ball, the good players only stick around for one year. I made some terrible picks last night, but I follow the NBA more than NCAA.
I was thinking earlier that college hoops is going to be the same as far as who is good and who isn't for a long time if teams like Kentucky, Kansas and the big dogs have the strongest recruiting classes of a pool of guys who are likely to stick around for a year or two. That's an assumption though again I'm not too familiar with college hoops though. Sorry this is a lot of rambling I'm a little fucked up.

No way. NCAA is wayy more exciting. The players actually care and March Madness is the greatest tournament in all of sports.
This years draft class is going to be absolutely sickening. Cavaliers are looking like they are going to suck again and probably end up with another lottery pick and try not to make the same mistake they did with Anthony Bennett. Worst #1 overall draft pick of all time

I'm only interested in college basketball because the Big 10 looks like its competitive. Tom Izzo is getting a reputation for being on of the up and coming top coaches.

Wait, wut?
Izzo IS one of the top coaches. It's mandatory that I hate Michigan State (I'm a Michigan fan), which I do, but dude. These numbers are ridiculous.
71% win percentage 6 Final Four appearances 7 Big Ten Championships 3 time Big Ten Tournament champions 7 Elite Eight appearances 16 NCAA Tournament berths 2 National Championship appearances 1 National Championship 3 time Big Ten coach of the year 1 time national coach of the year
Tom Izzo is flat out one of the 5 most accomplished coaches in the country. And has been for quite some time now.

Yup, I'm pretty sure they had the closest shot at landing him. Negotiations were really serious. But that was the year LeBron entered free agency. Had LeBron been locked up, I bet he would have taken the job.
He always says that he has no intentions of ever going to the NBA but obviously he thinks about it, or else he wouldn't have flirted so hard with the Cavs that year. If the right situation came alone I'm sure he'd at least listen.

Thats the crazy thing about College basketball a coach will actually turn down an offer from the NBA.
Most football coaches would cream at the thought of their own NFL team.

In 2004, the U.S. came in 3rd with a 5-3 record, including being slaughtered by Puerto Rico. Argentina took the gold.
Our roster included Iverson, Marbury, D Wade, Boozer, C. Anthony, Lebron, Stoudemire, Duncan and Odom.
Coached by Larry Brown, assisted by Popovich and Roy Williams
NBA players are probably the most selfish of pro sports, and there is no guarantee that they can be motivated to play what is essentially an exhibition for no money, for the honor of their country.

Thats not that good of a team. Iverson and Carmelo together there isn’t enough time in 4 games for how many times those dudes would want to shoot.
Whats funny is that was back when Stoudemire, Odom, Marbury, Iverson and the booze were good enough to somehow make a Olympic roster. The best player on that team was D.Wade by far.
The 2012 team was fucking awesome.
