Life is what you make it, we all have out struggles but its how you deal with it that defines your happiness.

I work a minimum wage job with 40 hours a week, a house of my own and 3 kids and 1 on the way as my fiance sits at home and watches the kids. We don't have the money to take a trip when ever we want, but we can pretty much do what ever we want locally.

On the other hand my buddy refuses to work and lives with mommy and daddy and pops pills all day and is non stop complaining about something, it just fathoms me.

Was going to repsonde that my life was easy as fuck and not hard in the least. Problem is I'm pretty far away from number 10, and miles away from number 1.  I guess according to you living paycheck to paycheck working full time plus college is pretty hard

yeah, okay... min wage jobs dont give out 40 hours a week checks. it happens but its rare. lets just say you are getting 40 at min. thats 1160 a month before taxes. given that you do have 3 kids and you prob claim a high number im going to assume you bring home close to 1000 a month.

3 kids and a wife. lets say you have 3 bedrooms. 1 for your wife and yourself, and 2 more to split between the kids. now i dont know the actual prices in indiana, but average for a 3 bedroom apt is around 700.00. that leaves you with 300. watching tv? basic cable is around 40.00 give or take. if you have netfilx then this means you have the net. youre posting so this means you have the net. lets say youre paying 30 a month on net, but no cable. that leaves you with 270. are you on food stamps? im assuming you are. 270 a month... kids arnt cheap.

im sorry, but i call bullshit!

care to explain?

I am getting a steady 39-40 hours a week from 5 am to 1 pm M - F. You are right on the 1000/month, and this is a house, not an apartment with 3 bed/1 bath, 1200 sq/f on 2 acers of yard with my mortgage at 500/month.

But what are you trying to call bullshit on? I normally don't explain myself but I figure i'd enlighten you on how to be productive with money/credit.
