Hey shroomery! I know its been a long time.. my new job has just token over all my time. GOOD MORNING! I was gonna make a EMC but one has already been made.
Well anyway back to my Q. I have around 1000 dollars, a seasonal job (warehouse), and my temps. I need a car FAST. I checked on Craigslist, and found a nice 1988 ford conversion van for 1100$ but thae damn owner wouldn't take a 1500$ offer, he said maybe...
So what is a good way to find a car quick?

so wait... you offered someone $400 more than their asking price and they said no? why not offer him the price he's asking and see if he'll sell it
also, it's best to go and drive the vehicle before you make an offer

offering more than the asking price is a common tactic of scammers
go out, drive the van, pay $1000 or what ever he's asking if you feel it's worth the price

I would look up cars and type em into google and look up consumer reviews on Edmunds
the less the one star ratings the better
each model will pretty much be distinguishable by those ratings

$1,500 is too much for that, no money should've been discussed until you took it for a test drive, then you shoud've offerec him like $1,000.
People don't put shit on craigslist they don't want to sell, he would've took the $1,000 in cash but now he knows he can get you for more.
