Question about HBWR

So I am expecting to receive around 100 HBWR seeds within the next few days and I'm excited to try them. I've been doing extensive research on the seed the past week and I can't seem to find a straight answer on this question; do I need to scrap off the outer shell? From the several different threads I have read I've seen some people saying it makes no difference and I've seen some that say the outer layer produces cyanide when mixed with saliva.
Thanks Bill

As far as I have been told (this was by a formally trained botanist with a penchant for the more...exciting plants) there is no evidence to support the theory that the furry shell contains anything malignant. I don't believe there has been any formal, peer-reviewed study on the subject, so if it makes you feel safer, feel free to scrape the seeds before consumption.

*Update*
Just got an email back from said botanist:
"[My name]
You remember correctly - the gastrointestinal discomfort is caused by cyanogenic glycosides found throughout the seed matter. Technically speaking, removing the outer husk will slightly reduce the amount of these glycosides however not in a quantity great enough to feel any noticeable difference in discomfort levels.
[Other pleasantries]"
Hope this helps! Again, this is not from formal studies but the guy reminds me of Pete Postlethwaite's character in Luhrmann's rendition of Romeo and Juliet, and is about as credible a source I know personally.

Try them subligually, just chew them up nd swish the saliva around ur mouth for about 20-40min, then spit them out. It doesn't taste to good but it won't cause as much stomach discomfort, stomach disormfort is worse than havin to deal with the taste. Along with doing them subligually drink some tea with ginger, cinnomin, nd peppermint in it, celestial seasons (somthin like that name I think it's right tho.) tension tamer tea has that in it along with other herbal medicine for tension like Siberian ginseng, chamomile nd lemon grass, it's good for the tension HBWR causes. Also smoke some weed with it, I don't like LSA without weed, it also helps the discomfort.
