Why does making prints in open air not cause instant contamination?

Why is it everything else in the spawn making stage require 100% sterile environments, but when you make a print this can be done in open air? Dont mold spores find their way onto the print?

You still want to be as sterile as possible

You are correct. This is one reason to learn agar. Agar allows you to isolate the healthy culture away from the contamination.
The cleaner the print the better. There are some techniques that can get a very clean print, perhaps even sterile.

Wow that's so weird I was wondering the same thang today while watching YouTube. Seems like the spores water comes in contact with air often, and some how opening a jar of sub straight dangerously jeopardizes your grow.

You use plain sterile water to make syringes. Spores don't germinate in plain sterile water. Different species of spores germinate and colonize at different rates.
Your grain/brf jars are highly nutritious and many things want to live on it.
The cleaner your spores, the better chance you have of getting fruits before contamination shows itself.

i was asking about making spore prints, i know once the spawn has been colonized its ok to do open air. why do spore prints exposed to mold spores in the air typically dont result in contamination of spawn?

Sometimes they do.
It's best that you try to take your prints as cleanly as possible, but don't forget that the mushrooms themselves have been sitting in an unsterile environment for days. It is almost impossible to get 100% clean prints.
Use agar!

because the amount of mushroom spores is like a a billion to one to other spores,,
they do germinate in sterile water,, sometimes spore syringes grow lc in them do to minerals etc thats in the water,
when colonized its still not ok to do open air.
making spore prints in open air, will make contam prints,, making prints in still air enviroment will make much cleaner prints..
