Might have stubbled upon a legend

Habitat: Where does it grow? Found underneath an oak tree in pine straw in Georgia
Gills: White
Stem: 1-2 inches white, hollow and smooth
Cap: 1.5-2.5 inches, red with uneven whit spotting, smooth, spherical, convex?
Bruising: No bruising.

If they're the pictures in your gallery, they are a Russula species, maybe toxic R. emetica. Taste some and then spit it out, a peppery taste will indicate R. emetica, otherwise they are probably edible (non-psychoactive), but they don't look too appealing to me.

yellow spore print - edible. white spore print - non-edible.
its a key for russulas but im not sure does all of them fit into this, most of them for sure.

Uhh, what? Where did you get this from? Spore color can be helpful in identification for Russula species, but as far as I am aware it is not useful in determining edibility. To determine edibility, one should taste a small bit of the cap (Do not swallow) and see its if hot/acrid or not. Also, I understand some black staining species are not edible.

just check out whats the spore print of most common russulas and you will see its true.

Looks like Russula emetica. If so, it's not edible. These are found in some of the same places as Amanita muscaria and some people mistake these for Amanita muscaria. This could be the source of some of the unpleasant Fly Ageric experiences reported.
