Is breakfast your biggest meal of the day?

Lately I have been having a big breakfast before going to work (generally did not eat breakfast until now) and I find that I have less desire to eat large quantities of food at lunch and dinner (seems to make sense). Is it okay to 'load' with breakfast and then have smaller lunches and dinners without risking.. malnourishment or something? Is it more 'ideal' to eat 3 equally portioned meals a day (or 6 as some do) or is large breakfast, smaller lunch and dinner okay? This coupled with the idea that sleeping on an empty or near empty stomach is ideal for the body to rest and recuperate.
Part of me feels I have over-thinking this but am still curious to hear what people think.

I have a big ass smoothie for breakfast everyday, Id say my biggest meal of the day is lunch or dinner though. Usually.
Like I just had 4 breakfast burritos with cheddar cheese and 3 scrambled eggs

I think that as long as your biggest meal of the day is not the one you have before going to bed you're fine. Of if it is, make sure you eat it a couple hours before going to bed. That's how I'm doing thangs anyway. I'm a very active guy and I eat a lot. If I have a big evening meal it's because I'm going to work out afterwards, in between that meal and going to bed. But yes, big breakfast is a great habit to have in my opinion.

I don't feel like eating a lot in the morning. From 6-11:30am I eat an english muffin or bagel, 4 granola bars, and a banana. Then small lunch, big dinner, and snacks after all that. I don't think there is a right or wrong time to eat as long as you aren't overdoing it.

Not at all.
I am normally in a bit of a rush in the morning and often skip breakfast, but less so these days, normally I have a granola bar or smoothie. I'm trying to work back into a bit of a routine and get my ass up earlier so I can ideally go for a run and stuff. I've never ate heavily in the morning because my appetite is usually not there(and I'm in a rush).
I usually make yogurt berry smoothies. I need more protein in my diet in general, I think, though.
Contemplating jumping on the wheatgrass shot fad as well.
See I usually get hungrier in the afternoons, I generally make vegetable stir-fry or a big ass salad or for lunch with chickpeas, 1 boiled egg, mushrooms, onions and tuna and sometimes even a sliced up potato depending on how hungry I'm feeling. I'm a really slow eater and tend to graze on that salad(it's really quite a mega salad though) throughout the day taking mini-lunch breaks instead of just one long one.
Then I'll usually have a granola bar, a sliced up apple w/cinnamon, or another smoothie.
Then dinner, which is usually a bit smaller than lunch. I'm still making the most of being 21 where I get drunk and eat a shitload of food at 3am a couple times a week, which is probably why I'm not so hungry in the mornings without trying to put on a whole lot of weight like people tend to do at 21+. Late night munchies are also sometimes a problem, but I'm a pretty healthy stoner, the worst I do is usually a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat, I avoid late night take out or fast food frenzies, but I can't say I don't occasionally eat the entire kitchen cupboard.
Overall, my diet is pretty healthy, but I think I'm not getting enough out of it, I've been really lagging in the energy dept and eating too many carbs but not enough protein - I want to do the Paleo thing, but I'm not a huge meat eater.

Literally JUST got a ninja, it's sweet. Seconded. I'm a juicing advocate too, and haven't really tried blending anything other than your normal fruits and yogurt in there yet, but it's a hell of a lot more convenient than setting up and cleaning up the juicer.
