which is cool, cause i suck at baking , i dont think ive ever successfully made cookies or muffins in like the last year, unless i use a store baught mix
heres the awesome recipe
Quote:
Ingredients (Topping) 1 cup (250 mL)packed brown sugar 1 tsp (5 mL)ground cinnamon 2 tbsp (30 mL)melted butter
Ingredients (Cake) 1/2 cup (125 mL)butter, softened 1 cup (250 mL)granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp (5 mL)vanilla 2 cups (500 mL)all-purpose flour 2 tsp (10 mL)baking powder 3/4 tsp (4 mL)salt 2/3 cup (170 mL)milk (1%) 2 cups (500 mL)wild, fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions (Topping)
Step 1 Stir brown sugar and cinnamon together in small bowl. Add butter; stir until blended. Set aside. ---------------------------------------------------------
Instructions (Cake)
Step 1 Lightly grease and flour 9 x 13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan. Set aside.
Step 2 Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until blended. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until blended.
Step 3 Stir flour, baking powder and salt together in medium bowl. Add a third of flour mixture to egg mixture; beat just until blended. Add half of milk mixture, beat just until blended. Continue alternating flour mixture and milk until both are incorporated into batter. Add blueberries; mix batter gently by hand just until combined. Spread batter into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
Step 4 Bake in preheated 350˚F (180˚C) oven until toothpick inserted near centre of cake comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
This cake is especially delicious made with wild blueberries. ------------------------------------------------------------------ For a nut topping, replace 1/3 cup (75 mL) sugar with 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour, and add 1/2 cup (125 mL) sliced almonds or finely chopped walnuts.
OMFG I LOST THIS RECIPE AND I COULD NEVER FIND IT AGAIN, NOW I FOUND IT HERE LOOKING FOR A PUMPKIN PICTURE I TOOK, ALL HAIL LORD GOPHER
It was called blueberry newfie cake, I googled for days last year trying to find it and no avail

Oh what will the year 2013 bring us, apparently having a home again and not being in prison or homeless.

It's old office space converted into rooms for rent, there's a shower in the hallway and a sink to get water from. I have an insta pot that works well.

If you're in the States, college kids throw all their shit away during summer break. Might be able to find a microwave.

Yeah I'd hate not having a proper kitchen, I spend a lotof time at a friends apartment, and its very small but at least she has a oven a microwave and a fridge, and I brought over a instantpot
Her oven is kinda small though I bought a cookie sheet one time and then it was too big to fit
But it fits a 9x13 casserole dish so its still pretty useful
But the fire detector in the living room goes off all the time because theliving room and kitchen are basically the same room, the place is really small, but atleast its reflected in the rent, she only pays $800 the next cheapest places are over 1k
