Sterilizing a carboy

I was thinking it would be cool to make a massive liquid culture with a carboy (Because I cannot yet afford a bioreactor)
(Just for fun by the way, I know it's better to do it in smaller quart jars so that you have less chance of contmaination)
That being said, does anybody know how to sterilize a carboy? It obviously won't fit in my autoclave or pressure cooker, would it just be possible to heat up the nutrient solution and pour it in there and cap it off, and wait for it to cool down? Would that suffice enough to kill any bacteria on the inside? I could clean it throughly before with h2o2 or something, and then pour in really really hot broth.
Would this be viable, or will it not sterilize the inside?

From what I understand in brewing circles, a glass carboy would crack or shatter if subjected to sufficient heat or pressure to sterilize it properly.

Not viable and asking for failure.
Doing what you suggest will not sterilize. it will most likely introduce more contaminants into you LC. If you really want to do LC start small and have a backup plan going as well. Don't put all your eggs in one basket
If you are looking for a way to get a lot of grain spawn I would suggest colonizing quart jars and doing G2G in a Still air box.

I like being stupid sometimes.
Funnel steam in to the empty carboy for like an hour and seal it of with a sterile lid.
Then, sterilize enough quarts of water to pour in the sterile carboy.
Of course, you'd have to this all in front of a flowhood or in a SAB.
If steam sterilizes cakes, surely it could sterilize an empty jug. The problem would be maintaining sterility throughout the process.
Use agar for you LC.

Rinse well with 100% alcohol? Still no way of sterilizing the air inside the carboy though...

What? No, I have spare spores and a lot of media,
I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket at all, I'm just doing this for fun as a side project, mabey I can grow a lot of mycellium in it and extract the psylo from it and have some nice crystals.
I've already got like 50 grain spawn jars olonising and idk what to do while i wait...

I wouldn't waste time on that then. Why not just work with agar if its mycelium you are after.
