these were found on my Gymn trails, in wood chips, on a piece of wood...thought at first glance they were Gymns...but now that i am looking at them, im thinking maybe Pholiota??

#2 these were found on the outskirts of the wood chips...growing in groups

#3 i wanna say its a Ganoderma but im really not sure...the color on it was amazing tho!! these pics dont do it justice in the least bit

#4 i think is Reishi (sorry about brutalizing the spelling all the time)

cool pic of 4 G. penetrans

 and a Gymn pin
Man, these G. penetrans are EVERYWHERE in this one patch!! i love it ...anyways, thanks for any help

Yes Pholiota squarrosa. If the second lot were all eccentric those might be Pleurotus eryngii. idk. The matt Ganoderma is a Ganoderma for sure. Nice one on the Reishi and Jims.

sweet!! thank you very much Joie!! i believe youre correct on #2!! thats SO cool! i found 4 patches, all close...but they were too old and i knew it!! Pholiota!! ah!! is their an accurate way to tell Pholiota apart from Gymns in the field?? i must be missing something...i do notice the cap is very scaly and i know Gymns are "naked helmets"... is that it? do no Gymns have "scaly caps"?

Yes Gyms don't have such very shaggy caps and stems, is the thing that stands out to me. Also (although not in this pic) you often find they have dropped a lot of mucky brown spores on each other, and that'a a quick tell.

I didn't think of that - Gyms also leave a highly visible print around, but a much lighter shade.
