thankz! I can definitely feel that this is going to be a once in a lifetime experience

no matter how many hours I have to wait for my luggage, or how many beggars I have to avert my eyes from (thats a really sad thing to have to do)... I can feel the divine energy guiding my way, I've been trying pretty successfully to surrender my nervousness about the trip to the will of the universe... were all so blessed I hope we continue counting our blessings rather than what we dont have !

one love

Don't let guilt get to you with beggars. If you have no money to give, give them a blessing instead...

Everything is just a new experience felt by a different person to add to the bank of them..

Experiencing things are why we are here. The Creator decided he wanted to experience all that he was composed of, on every level..

Are we the Creator ourselves? As in, we have the same infinity inside of us, and we could decide to experience it all, too? Quite the thought...
Peace.

I have plenty of money to give as my money is worth 5 times as much where I am going... but there are so many beggars, you cannot give to them all, so in groups you have to not give anything or you will be swarmed... the main thing I was thinking of though, was being in india in a car at a stoplight, people in bandages, mothers with babies, come to the car window and press up against it and I could not do anything but look straight foward... it made me really sad because I have alot of compassion for them, but I was acting as if I had none... If I were to constantly hand money out, people would be fighting over it...my mom when she went 25 years ago (my parents are leaving two days after me and my brother, but we will meet up over there)...she saw kids fistfighting for an applecore somone through out of a bus-window

its really like a different world, you have suffering like you could not imagine, but you also have the most beautiful and spiritual people and places that are also unimaginably beautiful until experiencing them

third world countries are a wealth of both of those qualities... It makes sense that they go hand in hand

The more one is removed from a certain system, the easier it is for them to see a little more clearly..

yes.

I noticed alot of things after coming back from india my first time, but one of the most noticable was that people here in america - dont smile very much at all.

in india everyone smiles at you, especially if you smile at them

I met some incredibly beautiful people! I didnt know such sweet and wise people existed. thank lordy for perspective

I think alot of perspective is gained from traveling

Don't forget to go to Goa. I have a couple of friends that went on holidays two years ago and rent a hut with internet access, as far as i know, everything is cheap over there. Good music btw.

"in india everyone smiles at you, especially if you smile at them"

cool. I went to london and everyone there was like it is here, glad people smile a lot elsewhere!

--------------------
Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.---senior doobie

going to india (goa) to party sounds weird to me... I dont have a problem with people doing that... but I think the spiritual wealth is much more valuable over there...

I did read in my little india book though - if you are caught even with a small ammount of hash/ganja it means 10 years imprisonment without parole - and a 3-4 month wait just for a trial (its also sold everywhere along with opium and other stuff... I was offered when I was there but its definitely not worth 10 years in prison.)

in some parts of goa, the police have even been known to threaten to plant hash on you for large ammounts of money.

yea everything is cheap over there... I think it would be fun to just go for a good time and all... but to visit temples is much more my style and I try to keep my attitude and living style pure while i am over there
