Natural, effective, remedies for certain situations

I'm looking for natural antiemetics, hypnotics, anxiolytics, analgesics and antihistamines that are effective. If someone could shed some light in this area, that would be great. I am googling and looking on forums, but why not ask while in the process. The reason I want substances for these things is because I have some insomnia, I've been taking alimemazine (40mg) for 3-4 years now and promethazine (25mg) 2-3+ years for insomnia. And I would like to taper down by myself and then find a natural hypnotic that will help me sleep if i need it. Analgesics 'cause I've had back problems for some amount of years. Got a home physiotherapy program going, but sometimes I do need something to help me with the back pain. Antihistamines 'cause I use opium occasionally, only for special occasions and even then I don't smoke much when I do smoke it. Anxiolytics 'cause I have panic anxiety and I'm gonna hand out some CVs and if I get a job, well, it'd help me out a great deal. Antiemetics 'cause I have emetophobia, which then makes me anxious and suicidal, so antiemetics around the house would be a great comforter. I know ginger has antiemetic properties, could someone tell me how effective it is and if it has any other medicinal values that could be helpful for me?

I used to have a prescription for that, but the side effects made me not wanna do them, nausea and throwing up. So I'd rather have something I could grow myself. But thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
As for the anxiolytic thing, if it'd help, the problems I have when I get really anxious would be; Hard to breathe, shaking, sweating, hard to speak, and I get quite restless, moving around, tapping my feet if I'm sitting down, increased heart rate.

For anxiety/stress I'd suggest reading into Scullcap, Ashwagandha, Mulungu, & Mucuna. I have high levels of anxiety and useless worry, all 4 of these have proven to improve my situation. Powdered extract is what I used for scullcap and mucuna And straight powdered bark/root bark for ashwagandha and mulungu (surely extracts would be better)
All of which can be legally grown, given the right conditions.

Valerian/chamomile can be pretty good for sleep/anxiety
Kava is amazing if you find a good source/prepare correctly. I've heard of some people needing to use a lot(multiple sessions) before effects became pronounced, but that wasn't the case for me.
Certain strains of kratom, higher doses being more sedating. Green malay is my favorite but I enjoy the stimulation/synergy at about 5-6 grams+
Kanna if you can find a good source. I recently purchased two extracts, one is amazing and the other is a bit on the excessively stimulating side.
I love ashwagandha though its effects sometimes vary for me. Sometimes it actually induces a bit of anxiety/over stimulation, but I can tell occasional use is hugely physically beneficial for me. Amazing for inflammation.
and of course careful cannabis use has been a godsend.

Get the book 'a more excellent way' by Henry Wright. You can only treat the symptoms with most of these plants, and the plants that may just get you to the root of the problem all cause nausea and vomiting, so that won't help much either. (Ayahuasca and Cacti)
Your problem has it's roots in Fear, which is an SPIRITUAL (not emotional) problem. All the symptoms you get come from FEAR. It is not your fault either...
That being said, here are a few plants that can help with your symptoms:
For the sleep, take a well-dosed combination of Valerian and Passionflower. You can also add skullcap, and a rather large list of other herbs in there. If you use, marijuana can help with 95% of your symptoms. (But note that it keeps you from dealing with the root cause of the symptoms.) For anxiety, well, most of the stuff you would be using for sleep, will work for that too. (In different doses though.)
As for your fear of throwing up, drink a nice dose of Cactus Juice or Ayahuasca. FACE YOUR FEARS, AND THEY WILL HAVE NO POWER OVER YOU.
That being said, again, you have your ginger.

Hops, valerian, skullcap, motherwort, vervain, passionflower and chamomile for insomnia and anxiety
lemon balm and catnip for anxiety and nausea
Any of the aromatic spices have varying efficacy with nausea ginger, mint, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, anise... (maybe stock up on some good ole chai tea?)
I don't know about any herbs that act as an antihistamines, but if allergies are a problem then taking an adaptegen twice daily helps: ginseng, ginkgo, chaga, reishi, licorice, cayenne, garlic... Also, cleansing and nourishing herbs taken daily, like dandelion, burdock root and stinging nettle.
For any type of chronic pain nothing brings relief like an opiate; however, any of the nervine tonics in the insomnia/anxiety list can bring some pain relief. Anti-inflammatory herbs are a good thing to consume several times daily if chronic pain is an issue, turmeric and cayenne are good ones. Also topical treatments and rubs like: mint, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus and wintergreen essential oils properly diluted --wintergreen oil is toxic, other essential oils can irritate or burn the skin. Also elacampane, comfrey, and arnica balms
and I am out of ideas... good luck
