Pseudoclitocybe cyathiformis?
    #19054696 - 10/29/13 10:28 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Stipe is 10cm long, 8-10mm thick.  Cap is 5cm across.  Growing in woods from the ground or a very rotted log.  Spore print in progress.

I would say that definitely looks like Pseudoclitocybe cyathiformis. Wait for a TI to chime in though.

On second thought I don't think it is. Pseudos gills seem to be adnexed not adnate like yours. Yours also appears more trumpet like than funnel like.

Okay so I've decided I was probably more right in agreeing the 1st time and the 2nd time I was wrong.

The gills are decurrent, not adnate.

Cool find. I don't think is P. cyathiformis due to the intervenose gills and decorated stipe.

Maybe an Omphalina species?

The intervenose gills make me think otherwise... Neat mushroom!

I thought that too. But, my books don't say anything about the intervenose gills.
