Hey guys.. I have some mukanye kude(acacia xanthoploea) bark.. I've read some info on azarius but i can't find anything on the net about it..
anybody have any tips on using dream herbs in general? Does it take a while to kick in ie a couple of days before effects become noticeable?
Last night a smashed some bark using a hammer and drank two brews at 6 pm and at 9 pm again and i had real difficulty falling asleep.. En then i woke up at 6 am again.. Maybe i had too much?

Depends on your dream herb mate. I've only tried some African Dream Root (ubulawu) and that worked from the second or third day of taking it I believe. My dreams were quite awesome, intensely colorful, 3D, I would for instance be in an industrial environment, like a refinery, and I'd move like an Alien or the Predator, up on walls, upside down on the pipeline, very 3D movement and action. Urban areas like Mega City One from Judge Dredd, futuristic mega cities on other planets, all manner of stuff, explored vertically as well as horizontally. Also saw in a dream a girl that I was to meet only 2-3 days later, that was a bit freaky
Great effects, but yucky substance, it's like blending toothpicks and then drinking them in water

I take Calea Zacatechichi most nights of the week to try aiding lucid dreams, and from the first day I took it I had long, complex dreams that felt like real life. Some of the dreams are rather mundane, but others are quite fantastical. I get much better recall also. I'd suggest taking it in capsules, the herb itself tastes pretty nasty. I got a bunch of them pre-capped on amazon for pretty cheap.

salvia gives me really creepy dreams and sleep paralysis, but they're still kind of hard to remember.
DMT gives me extremely vivid and lucid dreams and sometimes i blast off to hyperspace in my dreams
datura also gives me DATURA themed dreams like sleep paralysis and seeing ghosts and millions of little spiders also bears and wolfs and shamans from the other side.

I tried growing calea zacatechichi from seeds a year or so back. From what I read they are near impossible to germinate, however almost all of my seeds did. And the plant is known for producing an EXTREMELY bitter tea, and mine was not. The plant looked like some caleas zazatechichi plants I've seen online, but supposedly there's a non bitter variety, which I assume I got (possibly rendering it ineffective). I had no noticeable affects from capsules, tea and smoking the herb. Maybe it was because I had the wrong herb.
I think that putting in manual labor is whats best for increasing cool dream activity. Reality checks and dream journals over time will make your dreams more vivid, memorable, and lucid.

Calea Zacatechichi. It's legal, cheap, and works extremely well. Brew a tea with 3 grams or smoke a few joints before bed and you will be blown away.

Calea Z., careful not to overdo it. I smoked too much one night and couldnt fall asleep.
I have a silene capensis tincture but I have really experimented too much with it yet. I tried it a few days in a row but didnt notice anything.
Galantamine + choline works good. Ive only tried it once but I had lucid dream. Just make sure you sleep for ~4 hours, wake up take galantamine+choline, then go back to sleep.

True that. I've had that happen to me a couple of times. I've only ever smoked joints of either calea z or this dream blend that I got online somewhere and I really preferred the blend. The calea by itself is such a bitter smoke, I couldn't even imagine a tea. The dream blend wasn't as bitter, but I didnt get any major differences between the two.
They both helped immensely with recall and the vividness of my dreams.
