Any one know any good build-a-bong manafacturers?
Someone mentioned build-a-bongs on here earlier and it peaked my interest.
I have to quit smoking for a while so I'm going to save up the money I would've spent on weed and buy a bong for when I can smoke again.
I can only find a few companies that make them though, BLAZE Glass, Grav Labs, Hoss Glass, and I hear RooR is going to start doing it soon.
I don't think I really like the BLAZE or Grav Labs ones though, and RooR hasn't released them yet and they're too expensive anyways.
I Really Like The Hoss Glass ones though, but they have mixed reviews online, it seems like most people that actually have them like them, but they have a lot of haters that say they're cheaply made.
Here's what I picked out so far.
Liquid Filled Freezer Top
Height: 13.8″ Inches Joint Size: 45 mm Male Tube Diameter: ~ 52 mm

$159.98
8 Arm Percolator, Middle Section
Height: 5.0″ Inches Joint Size: 45 mm Male Female Tube Diameter: ~ 52 mm

$88.98
Fixed Showerhead to Disk Diffuser Base
Height: 9.5″ Inches Joint Size: 19 mm Bowl Thickness: 7 mm

$184.98
Inline Donut Ash Catcher
Height: 4.5″ Inches Joint Size: 19 mm Downstem diffuser, with 14 mm Bowl joint / Available in 14 mm & 19 mm Male joint sizes Stem Length: 4" Inches Width at Base: 5″ Inches

$129.98 I'm not sure If I'm going to get this ash catcher yet, It's nice but pretty expensive, I might just get a cheap ne and upgrade later.
It'll be ~28.5 inches tall.
I'll probably make a sweet case for it too out of like a metal breifcase or somethin'.
Without the ash catcher it'll $433.94 with the ash catcher it'll be $563.92 and like another $15 for keck clips. This doesn't seem like too bad of a price for a good bong, It's about what I was expecting to spend.
But my main questions are
Has anyone here had any experience with Hoss Glass?
Do you know of any other Build-A-Bong manafacturers?
Do you think this is a decent price for what I'm getting?

Honestly forget the glycerin coils, They dont actually cool the smoke down any more than ice would and I'm fairly certain that even Illedelph glass has problems with keeping the plugs (that keep the glycerin in) in. I say forget that all together. Honestly check out US tubes they're fuckin chunnky and decently priced. German Roors are awesome and so are Hurricanes if youve got extra cash to spare. Check out the dablab if you havnt already they've got some neat shit.

Yeah I know ice would work just as well, but it doen't look as cool.
And I looked at us glass before but I never realized they had kits, they're definitely on the list now, thank's
and roors are nice, but I think they're overpriced for what they are.
I'm defitely set on getting a Build-A-Bong, I fell in love with the idea as soon as I seen it. I think they're cooler than regular bongs, and you can always add stuff to them to upgrade them. I'm just not sure what brand to get yet.

Honestly may not look as cool, but if your going for heady, check out the dablab. I got really close to buying a coil, then I heard some really bad reports with all of them leaking over time. Plus On the real, it doesnt make that much of a difference, I've hit a glycerin coil 12 arm perc Zob and it was okay, but not any colder then ice really. Not worth the money Just

I checked out dablab, they have a lot of cool stuff, the first thing I clicked on was $4,000 though... Reminds me of Aqua Lab Technologies

Sort the site by brands and check out Custom creations line. They have a sick disk perk, I love the no downstem thing its pretty nice. Plus I'm certain they're running on the cheaper side of decent boro.

Yeah, I lol'd when he said that.
Most people that smoke weed on youtube come off as lame though, most of them can't even clear a bong without coughing for 10 minutes.

Having spent alot of money on glass I'd have to say If I had to do it over. I'd get a simple like mid size decent piece. You get most of the taste, then pick what kind of perc you want, but I wouldnt get super crazy, too much perc and you start to loose flavor. Circs are fucking neat to look at in particular.
